THE RESTAURANT

The large, airy, and open restaurant straddles the pool, taking the crown as the focal point of the resort. The colorful decorations and warm browns of the lumber furniture and floor tiles create a warm, tropical and inviting atmosphere. With a large floor area of 50 m2 and space for 42 seated patrons the restaurant can easily handle the needs of the hotel guests PLUS the passers-by who shuffle by the front door of the resort on their way to and from the beach.
THE HOTEL

The hotel holds eight double-occupancy rooms of 15 m2. Each room is air-conditioned, contains a private bathroom / shower, and is furnished with a tween-sized bed, TV, night-table, ceiling fan and shelving. The rooms are bright, beautifully decorated with tropical motifs, and offer a view of the pool and surrounding greenery. Towels and linen are provided.

THE CABINS

Four large cabins sleep up to six guests each. Each cabin contains a large, fully furnished living area and a kitchen equipped with a stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and all necessary cutlery. A pull-out couch, table and chairs, TV and shelving are also provided in the combined living / kitchen space. The two air-conditioned bedrooms each hold a tween-sized bed, shelving, night table, a ceiling fan and a TV.

THE POOL

This large 26 m resort pool sits right between the hotel and restaurants – guests staying in the lower levels of the hotel are about four steps away from the refreshing waters! With a shallow end of 1m and deep end of 1.6m the pool allows for leisurely laps as well as general wading and relaxing. A separate 0.5m kiddie pool provides a safe space for the youngest of guests.

PARKING AND ACCESS

The resort fronts a prepared public road with plentiful parking provided right at the front entrance – this is also where you will find the reception building.

FURTHER COMMERCIAL OPPORTUNITIES

The restaurant can be operated in-house or leased to an outside operator for a ‘hands-off’ experience. Perhaps a rotating 6 or 12-month lease can keep things ‘fresh’ as diverse operators bring their unique tastes and ensure that there is always a buzz around what is being served? Unique menus and specialized cuisine could be developed to coincide with the changing seasons or shifting local tastes.

Another option would be to hold events in the large restaurant space – for example salsa lessons, live music performances, educational seminars, poolside yoga retreats – the possibilities are endless!
